Section 23-1-210 Authorization to provide relocation assistance. When any department, agency,
or instrumentality of the state, or any county, municipality, or other political subdivision,
or any other public or private entity subject to the provisions of the federal Uniform Relocation
Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970, as amended, Public Law 91-646

Section 22-28-21 Air pollution emergencies. (a) Any other provisions of law to the contrary
notwithstanding, if the director finds that a generalized condition of air pollution exists
and that it creates an emergency requiring immediate action to protect human health or safety,
the director shall order persons causing or contributing to the air pollution to reduce or
discontinue immediately the emission of air contaminants, and such order shall fix a place
and time, not later than 24 hours thereafter, for a hearing to be held before the Environmental
Management Commission. Not more than 24 hours after the commencement of such hearing, and
without adjournment thereof, the Environmental Management Commission shall affirm, modify

Section 27-15-8.1 Life insurance policy provisions - Maximum rates of interest on policy loans.
(a) For purposes of this section the "published monthly average" means: (1) The
Monthly Average of the Composite Yield on Seasoned Corporate Bonds as published by Moody's
Investors Service, Inc., or any successor thereto; or (2) In the event that the Monthly Average
of the Composite Yield on Seasoned Corporate Bonds is no longer published, a substantially
similar average, established by regulation issued by the commissioner. (b)(1) Policies issued
on or after May 15, 1981, shall provide for policy loan interest rates as follows: a. A provision
permitting a maximum interest rate of not more than eight percent per annum; or b. A provision
permitting an adjustable maximum interest rate established from time to time by the life insurer

Commercial Motor Vehicle Safety Act of 1986 (CMVSA) (Title XII of Pub. Law 99-570) and reduce
or prevent commercial motor vehicle accidents, fatalities, and injuries by: (a) Permitting
commercial drivers to hold only one license; (b) Disqualifying commercial drivers who have
committed certain serious traffic violations, or other specified offenses; (c) Strengthening
commercial driver licensing and testing standards. This article is a remedial law which should
be liberally construed to promote the public health, safety, and welfare. To the extent that
