Section 6-5-731 Definitions. For purposes of this article, the following words have the following meanings: (1) CLAIM. Any claim by or on behalf of a natural person, as well as any derivative or other claim arising therefrom asserted by or on behalf of any other person. (2) GENERALLY KNOWN CONDITION ALLEGEDLY CAUSED BY OR ALLEGEDLY LIKELY TO RESULT FROM LONG-TERM CONSUMPTION. A condition generally known to result or to likely result from the cumulative effect of consumption, and not from a single instance of consumption. (3) KNOWING AND WILLFUL. Conduct in violation of federal or state law which meets both of the following criteria: a. The conduct constituting the violation was committed with the intent to deceive or injure consumers or with actual knowledge that such conduct was injurious to consumers. b. Section 22-27-2 Definitions. For the purpose of this article, the following terms shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them by this section: (1) AGENCY. Section 20-2-190 Penalties; sale of ephedrine, etc.; Alabama Drug Abuse Task Force. (a) Any person who manufactures, sells, transfers, receives, or possesses a listed precursor chemical violates this article if the person: (1) Knowingly fails to comply with the reporting requirements of this article; (2) Knowingly makes a false statement in a report or record required by this article or the rules adopted thereunder; (3) Is required by this article to have a listed precursor chemical license or permit, and is a person as defined by this article, and knowingly or deliberately fails to obtain such a license or permit. (a) No business entity, employer, or public employer shall knowingly employ, hire for employment, or continue to employ an unauthorized alien to perform work within the State of Alabama. Section 27-2-24 Examinations - Report; confidentiality of information. (a) The commissioner, or his or her examiner, shall make a full and true written report of each examination.
