Section 34-20-4 Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators - Generally. (a) There is a Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators composed of seven members, six original members as set out in this subsection, and an additional consumer member as set out in subsection (b). The membership of the board shall be inclusive and reflect the racial, gender, geographic, urban/rural, and economic diversity of the state. (a) When a hospital refers an individual at or near death to a procurement organization, the organization shall make a reasonable search of the records of the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency and any donor registry that it knows exists for the geographical area in which the individual resides to ascertain whether the individual has made an anatomical gift. (a)(1) The Commissioner of the Department of Insurance shall prescribe a standard health insurance claim form to be used by all hospitals.
