Section 45-49-23.06 Transfer of wholesaler business. (a) Upon written notice of intent to transfer
the wholesaler's business, any individual owning or deceased individual who owned an interest
in a wholesaler may transfer the wholesaler's business to a designated member, or any other
person who meets the nondiscriminatory, material, and reasonable qualifications and standards
required by the supplier for Alabama wholesalers. The consent or approval of the supplier
shall not be required of any transfer of the wholesaler's business, including the assignment
of wholesaler's rights under the agreement, to a designated member or shall not be withheld
or unreasonably delayed to a proposed transferee (other than a designated member) who meets
such nondiscriminatory, material, and reasonable qualifications and standards. Provided, however,

Section 19-3B-508 Qualified trusts under the Internal Revenue Code. (a) As used in this section:

Section 7-9A-407 Restrictions on creation or enforcement of security interest in leasehold
interest or in lessor's residual interest. (a) Term restricting assignment generally ineffective.
Except as otherwise provided in subsection (b), a term in a lease agreement is ineffective

Section 22-6-6.1 Assignment to state of recipients' rights to payments for medical care; authorization
to release needed information. (a) Every recipient of medical assistance under the Alabama
Medicaid Program shall be deemed to have made assignment to the State of Alabama of any and
all rights of his to medical support or payments for medical care from any person, firm or
corporation, together with the rights of any other individuals eligible for medical assistance
for whom he can legally make assignment. This assignment shall be effective to the extent

payee of a private transfer fee obligation imposed prior to May 25, 2011, shall record, prior

Section 7-9A-405 Modification of assigned contract. (a) Effect of modification on assignee.
A modification of or substitution for an assigned contract is effective against an assignee
if made in good faith and in accordance with reasonable commercial standards. The assignee
acquires corresponding rights under the modified or substituted contract. The assignment may
provide that the modification or substitution is a breach of contract by the assignor. This
