Section 16-67-1 Reciprocity committee and fund. (a) There is created the State Reciprocity Committee. The membership of the committee shall consist of the following members: (1) The Chancellor of the University of Alabama System, or his or her designee. (2) The President of Auburn University, or his or her designee. (3) The President of the University of South Alabama, or his or her designee. (4) The Chancellor of the Alabama Community College System, or his or her designee. (5) A president of a historically black college or university, or his or her designee, appointed by the Governor. (b) At the organizational meeting of the committee, and annually thereafter, the membership of the reciprocity committee shall select the chair from among the membership of the reciprocity committee. Section 2-6-53 Lease authorized - Agricultural Center Fund; appropriations for rentals and expenses. The charges made by the board pursuant to Section 2-6-51 shall be deposited monthly in the State Treasury to the credit of a special fund therein designated the Agricultural Center Fund and shall be used solely for the payment of the rentals payable under the lease agreement and the said operating and administrative expenses. Section 2-9-6 Requisitions and warrants for payments from fund. All expenses incurred under this title or any other provision of this code or other statute which the Commissioner, Department or Board of Agriculture and Industries is authorized or directed to administer or enforce for the operation of the department shall be paid by warrants drawn by the comptroller on the Agricultural Fund upon the requisition of the commissioner. (a) For tax years beginning after December 31, 2019, there is a credit allowed against the state income tax levied by Section 40-18-2 equal to 50 percent of an eligible taxpayer's qualified railroad rehabilitation expenditures.
