Section 12-8-6 Duties of conference generally. It shall be the duty of the Judicial Conference: (1) To make a continuous study of the administration of justice in this state and of the organization, procedure, practice, rules and methods of administration and operation of each and all of the courts of the state; (2) To receive and consider and in its discretion investigate criticisms and suggestions pertaining to the administration of justice in the state; (3) To prepare for presentation to the Legislature at each regular session thereof a report of the proceedings of the conference and its recommendations relative to improving the administration of justice in Alabama and particularly of expediting the business of the courts and utilizing in the most appropriate manner the judges of the circuit courts and district courts of the state. (a) Any person may file a complaint with the board against any licensed occupational therapist or licensed occupational therapy assistant in the state charging the person with having violated this chapter. (a) As used in Section 32-5A-191, the term, "ignition interlock device" means a constant monitoring device that prevents a motor vehicle from being started at any time without first determining the equivalent blood alcohol level of the operator through the taking of a breath sample for testing. The system shall be calibrated so that the motor vehicle may not be started if the blood alcohol level of the operator, as measured by the test, reaches a blood alcohol concentration level of 0.02.
