Section 38-13-2 Definitions. When used in this chapter, the following words shall have the following meanings: (1) ADULT. An individual 19 years of age and older. (2) ADULT CARE FACILITY. A person or entity holding a Department of Human Resources license or approval or certification to provide care, including foster care, for adults. (3) APPLICANT. A person or entity who submits an application for license as a child care or adult care facility to the Department of Human Resources or a child placing agency, or an application for employment or for a volunteer position to a Department of Human Resources licensed child care or adult care facility. With regard to child care and adult care facilities in a home setting, the term includes an adult household member whose residence is in the home. Section 15-9-81 Adoption and text of agreement on detainers. The agreement on detainers is hereby enacted into law and entered into by the State of Alabama with any and all jurisdictions legally joining therein, in the form substantially as follows: AGREEMENT ON DETAINERS The contracting states solemnly agree that: Article I. Section 25-4-134 Procedures for collection of delinquent contribution payments. (a) Generally. The contributions, interest, and penalties required to be paid under this chapter shall be a first and prior lien upon all property and rights to property, real or personal, of any employer subject to this chapter. Section 34-21-126 Interstate Commission of Nurse Licensure Compact Administrators. (a) The party states hereby create and establish a joint public entity known as the Interstate Commission of Nurse Licensure Compact Administrators. (1) The commission is an instrumentality of the party states.
