Section 41-10-552 Publication of notice; time limitation on actions contesting proceedings,
validity of obligations, etc. Upon the adoption by the directors of any resolution providing
for the issuance of authority obligations, the authority may, in its discretion, cause to
be published once a week for two consecutive weeks, in newspapers published or having a general
circulation in the Cities of Birmingham, Montgomery, Huntsville, and Mobile, a notice in substantially

Section 5-8A-39 Notice for and filing of claims against bank. The receiver shall cause notice

weeks, calling all persons who may have claims, but not including deposits or certificates

this chapter, the governing body of any Class 6 municipality with a commission form of government

Section 5-7A-41 Meeting of stockholders for purpose of conversion or consolidation. All meetings
of shareholders, called for any of the purposes provided for in Section 5-7A-40, shall be

Section 11-43A-113 Referendum to determine form of government. Between October 1, 1991, and
March 31, 1992, any municipality adopting the council-manager form of government under this
article, regardless of which effective date is chosen in the ordinance referenced in Section
11-43A-70, shall conduct a referendum for the purpose of determining whether after the first
Monday in October following the next regularly scheduled municipal election, the municipality
shall operate under the council-manager form of government as prescribed herein or, in the
alternative, under the mayor-council form of government as set forth in Section 11-43-1 et
