Section 5-2A-61 Created; commissioner and deputy commissioner generally; examiners; disclosure
of information by officers; seal of commissioner. (a) There is hereby created a Savings and
Loan Bureau which shall be a bureau of the State Banking Department. (b) The bureau shall
be set up, established and administered by the Savings and Loan Commissioner under the executive
direction and control of the State Banking Department, and the commissioner shall be the same
person as the Superintendent of Banks. The Deputy Superintendent of Banks shall be the deputy

Section 8-19-8 Restraining orders. (a) Whenever the office of the Attorney General or the office
of the district attorney has reason to believe that any person is engaging in, has engaged
in or is about to engage in any act or practice declared to be unlawful by this chapter, the
Attorney General or the district attorney may bring an action in the name of the state against
such person to restrain by temporary restraining order, temporary or permanent injunction

Section 10A-2-13.30 Court action. REPEALED IN THE 2019 REGULAR SESSION BY ACT 2019-94 EFFECTIVE
JANUARY 1, 2020. THIS IS NOT IN THE CURRENT CODE SUPPLEMENT. (a) If a demand for payment under
Section 10A-2-13.28 remains unsettled, the corporation shall commence a proceeding within
60 days after receiving the payment demand and petition the court to determine the fair value
of the shares and accrued interest. If the corporation does not commence the proceeding within
the 60 day period, it shall pay each dissenter whose demand remains unsettled the amount demanded.
(b) The corporation shall commence the proceeding in the circuit court of the county where
the corporation's principal office, or, if none in this state, its registered office, is located.

Section 32-6-3 Examination prior to application for license or renewal. (a) Every person who
applies for an initial Alabama driver's license issued by the Department of Public Safety
under this article shall be given and successfully pass an examination before the issuance

Section 10A-20-5.01 Amendment of charter; fees for filing same; certified copy thereof. (a)
Any educational institution heretofore incorporated under special act of the Legislature or
under the general laws of the state may amend its charter as follows: (1) The trustees of
