Section 5-7A-41 Meeting of stockholders for purpose of conversion or consolidation. All meetings
of shareholders, called for any of the purposes provided for in Section 5-7A-40, shall be
called by resolution of the board of directors. Notice of such meeting and of the purposes
thereof shall be published once a week for four consecutive weeks prior to the date of such
meeting in some newspaper with a general circulation in the city, town or village in which
the principal place of business of said state bank is located, provided, that newspaper publication
may be dispensed with entirely if waived by all the shareholders, and in the case of a merger

if publication for four weeks is waived by holders of at least two-thirds of each class of

Section 11-99-4 Creation of tax increment districts and approval of project plans. In order
to exercise its powers under this chapter, a public entity shall take the following steps:
(1) The local governing body shall hold a public hearing at which all interested parties are
afforded a reasonable opportunity to express their views on the concept of tax increment financing,
on the proposed creation of a tax increment district and its proposed boundaries, and its
benefits to the public entity. Notice of the hearing shall be published in a newspaper of

as provided in Section 2-8-125, the certified organization shall, before calling and announcing

Section 22-27-48.1 Approval process by local governing body for siting of new solid waste management
facility. (a) This section applies to the siting of any new solid waste management facility,
as defined in Section 22-27-2. (b) The governing body of a county or municipality shall make
a discretionary decision to approve or disapprove the siting of a new solid waste management
facility in accordance with this section. (c) Any person or entity seeking approval from the
governing body of a county or municipality for the siting of a new solid waste management
facility shall also submit to the governing body as part of its application, the application
fee required under subsection (d) of Section 22-27-48 and all of the following information:
