Section 33-13-12 Bonds - Disposition of proceeds; investments. The authority shall pay out of the proceeds from the sale of any of the bonds (other than refunding bonds) those expenses which the board of directors may deem necessary or advantageous in connection with the sale or issuance thereof. The proceeds from the sale of all bonds, other than refunding bonds, remaining after paying the expenses of their sale and issuance shall be turned in to the treasury of the State Docks Department, shall be carried in a special fund therein and shall be subject to be drawn on by the State Docks Department, upon the approval of the authority, but solely for the respective purposes for which they were authorized to be issued, viz., payment of costs incurred in the development, construction, improvement, expansion and modernization (or any of them) of the state docks facilities at the Port of Mobile, as the state facilities may from time to time exist. Section 45-43-246.08 Charge for collection. The State Department of Revenue shall charge Lowndes County for collecting the special county taxes levied an amount not to exceed 10 percent of the amount collected. Such charge for collecting the special taxes for the county may be deducted each month from the special sales and special use taxes collected before certifying the amount of the proceeds thereof due Lowndes County for that month. Section 5-5A-19 Reserves. (a) A bank which is not a member of the Federal Reserve System shall maintain at all times a reserve fund in an amount fixed by resolution of the Banking Board. The amount of the required reserve for each day shall be computed on the basis of average daily deposits covering such biweekly or shorter periods as shall be fixed by resolution of the Banking Board. This reserve shall consist of cash on hand and demand deposits due from other banks. (b) A bank shall give written notice to the superintendent, in the manner prescribed by the superintendent for such notice, of any deficiency in the amount or form of the reserve fund required by this section within three business days after the close of any scheduled averaging period during which deficiency occurs. Section 5-13B-26 Examinations; periodic reports; cooperative agreements; assessment of fees. (a) To the extent consistent with subsection (c), the superintendent may make such examinations of any branch established and maintained in this state pursuant to this article by an out-of-state state bank as the superintendent may deem necessary to determine whether the branch is being operated in compliance with the laws of this state and in accordance with safe and sound banking practices. The provisions of Chapter 3A, Title 5, shall apply to such examinations. (b) The superintendent may prescribe requirements for periodic reports regarding any out-of-state bank that operates a branch in Alabama pursuant to this article.
