Section 7-9A-102 Definitions and index of definitions. (a) Article 9A definitions. In this article: (1) "Accession" means goods that are physically united with other goods in such a manner that the identity of the original goods is not lost. Section 11-65-19 Review of application for operator's license. (a) A commission shall promptly consider any application for the issuance or transfer of an operator's license submitted to it and shall grant or deny the issuance or transfer of such license based on all information before it, including the results of investigations it deems appropriate. Section 16-33B-4 Basic powers and duties of the Alabama Commission on Higher Education for the Alabama Guaranteed Student Loan Program. (a) Basic powers. Section 39-2-12 Partial and final payments of contractors by awarding authorities. (a) As used in this section the following words shall have the meanings ascribed to them as follows: (1) CONTRACTOR. Any natural person, partnership, company, firm, corporation, association, limited liability company, cooperative, or other legal entity licensed by the Alabama State Licensing Board for General Contractors.
