Section 5-19-22 License to engage in business of making consumer loans or taking assignments of consumer credit contracts - Required; exceptions; application; investigation; standards for issuance; hearing; licensing under Small Loan Act; fees; participation in Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry. Section 5-25-3 Persons excluded. The following persons are not subject to the provisions of this chapter: (1) Any depository institution as defined in Section 3 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act, any subsidiary institution that is owned and controlled by a depository institution, and employees of any of the foregoing. Section 5-25-5 Application for license. (a) An application for a license under this chapter shall be made in writing, under oath, and in the form as the department may prescribe. (b) The application shall include all of the following: (1) The legal name, business address, and telephone number of the applicant and, if the applicant is a partnership, association, corporation, or other group of individuals, however organized, the legal name, residence, and business address of every principal, together with the resume of the applicant and of every principal of the applicant. Section 41-15B-2.2 Allocation of trust fund revenues. (a) For each fiscal year, beginning October 1, 1999, contingent upon the Children First Trust Fund receiving tobacco revenues and upon appropriation by the Legislature, an amount of up to and including two hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($225,000), or equivalent percentage of the total fund, shall be designated for the administration of the fund by the council and the Commissioner of Children's Affairs.
