Section 34-21A-13 Form of application for licenses, examinations, and license renewals. (a) All applicants for licenses, examinations, or license renewals shall be required to complete specific application forms developed and provided by the board. Information required to be provided on license application forms shall include, but not be limited to, the following: (1) The applicant's name, date of birth, Social Security number, residence address, telephone number, and county of residence. (2) The name of the applicant's employer, or the name of the applicant's business, including the business address and telephone number of the employer or applicant's business. (3) Details of the applicant's business experience, details of the applicant's work experience, and classroom training in the areas of requested licensing. Section 5-26-3 Definitions. For purposes of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply: (1) DEPOSITORY INSTITUTION. The term "depository institution" has the same meaning as in Section 3 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act, and includes any credit union. (2) FEDERAL BANKING AGENCIES. (a) Commencing on May 21, 2009, any security officer, armed security officer, or contract security company providing private security services in this state shall apply to the board for a license or certification. Section 39-2-12 Partial and final payments of contractors by awarding authorities. (a) As used in this section the following words shall have the meanings ascribed to them as follows: (1) CONTRACTOR. Any natural person, partnership, company, firm, corporation, association, limited liability company, cooperative, or other legal entity licensed by the Alabama State Licensing Board for General Contractors. Section 9-16-81 Licenses required; application; qualifications; fees. (a) All surface coal mining operations shall be subject to this article, except as excluded in Section 9-16-99. (b) No person shall engage in or carry out on lands within the state any surface coal mining operations unless such person is a citizen of the United States or, if not a citizen of the United States, a person who is legally present in the United States with appropriate documentation from the federal government and has first obtained a license in accordance with this section.
