Section 2-15-133 Bonds or bond equivalents; financial statements and reports; liability for
payments. (a) No license as required under Section 2-15-132 shall be issued or renewed until
the applicant therefor shall make, execute, and thereafter maintain on file with the commissioner
a bond or a bond equivalent as provided in subsection (f) in favor of the State of Alabama
or a trustee to be approved by the commissioner to secure the performance of obligations incurred
in the State of Alabama and the payment thereof to persons from whom such dealer purchases
livestock. Except as otherwise provided in this subsection, the amount of each bond shall
be not less than the next multiple of two thousand dollars ($2,000) above the average amount
of purchases of livestock purchased either as a dealer or on an agency basis in Alabama during

Section 5-24-21 Authority of financial institution. A financial institution may enter into
a contract of deposit for a multiple-party account to the same extent it may enter into a
contract of deposit for a single-party account, and may provide for a POD designation and
an agency designation in either a single-party account or a multiple-party account. A financial
institution need not inquire as to the source of a deposit to an account or as to the proposed

Section 5-24-11 Ownership during lifetime. (a) In this section, "net contribution"
of a party means the sum of all deposits to an account made by or for the party, less all
payments from the account made to or for the party which have not been paid to or applied
to the use of another party and a proportionate share of any charges deducted from the account,
plus a proportionate share of any interest or dividends earned, whether or not included in
