Section 34-1A-7 Licenses - Required. (a) Effective January 1, 1998, it shall be unlawful for any person or business entity to engage in a business regulated by this chapter in this state without a current valid license or in violation of this chapter and applicable rules and regulations of the board. (b) Effective January 1, 1998, it shall be unlawful for a person or business entity not licensed under this chapter to advertise or hold out to the public that he or she is a licensee of the board. (c) Any person or business entity who violates this chapter or any order, rule, or regulation of the board shall be guilty of a Class A misdemeanor, and for each offense for which he or she is convicted shall be punished as provided by law. Section 28-3A-6 Manufacturer licensing and requirements; tastings or samplings; charitable event donations. Section 5-25-16 Enforcement and penalties. (a) Whenever it appears to the supervisor that any person required to be licensed or registered under this chapter has violated any law of this state or any order or regulation of the department, the supervisor after notice and hearing may order such person or an affiliate acting on behalf of such person to cease and desist from the unauthorized practices. Section 28-4A-4 Privilege and excise taxes levied on brewpub; recordkeeping; wholesaler designee; exemption from Sections 28-9-3 through 28-9-11. (a) In addition to the licenses provided for by this chapter and any county or municipal license, there is levied on the brewpub for on-premises sales of beer brewed by the brewpub licensee the privilege or excise taxes imposed by Sections 28-3-184 and 28-3-190. Section 45-46-84.26 Renewal of license by mail; mail order fee. The judge of probate, at his or her discretion, may annually mail an application for renewal of licenses to whom such license has been previously issued, such renewal forms required to be received in the license division office prior to the expiration date of the license. Such renewal forms may be in postcard form and with sufficient information thereon to adequately identify and process such renewal.
