Section 7-2-201 Formal requirements; statute of frauds. (1) Except as otherwise provided in
this section a contract for the sale of goods for the price of $500 or more is not enforceable
by way of action or defense unless there is some writing sufficient to indicate that a contract
for sale has been made between the parties and signed by the party against whom enforcement
is sought or by his authorized agent or broker. A writing is not insufficient because it omits
or incorrectly states a term agreed upon, but the contract is not enforceable under this paragraph
beyond the quantity of goods shown in such writing. (2) Between merchants if within a reasonable
time a writing in confirmation of the contract and sufficient against the sender is received
and the party receiving it has reason to know its contents, it satisfies the requirements

Section 7-3-308 Proof of signatures and status as holder in due course. (a) In an action with
respect to an instrument, the authenticity of, and authority to make, each signature on the
instrument is admitted unless specifically denied in the pleadings. If the validity of a signature
is denied in the pleadings, the burden of establishing validity is on the person claiming
validity, but the signature is presumed to be authentic and authorized unless the action is
to enforce the liability of the purported signer and the signer is dead or incompetent at

Section 27-20-5 Blanket disability insurance - Power to issue; filing requirement; mandatory
policy provisions. Any insurer authorized to write disability insurance in this state shall
have the power to issue blanket disability insurance. No such blanket policy may be issued

Section 27-25-7 Notice of availability of owner's title insurance. (a) In connection with any
transaction involving the purchase or sale of a fee simple or possessory interest in real
property in this state, the title insurer shall obtain or cause its agent to obtain, at or
before the closing of settlement and disbursement of any funds, a statement in writing from
the purchaser acknowledging that the purchaser has received a notice that owner's title insurance
may be available to the purchaser in accordance with the underwriting guidelines of the title
