Section 20-2-190 Penalties; sale of ephedrine, etc.; Alabama Drug Abuse Task Force. (a) Any person who manufactures, sells, transfers, receives, or possesses a listed precursor chemical violates this article if the person: (1) Knowingly fails to comply with the reporting requirements of this article; (2) Knowingly makes a false statement in a report or record required by this article or the rules adopted thereunder; (3) Is required by this article to have a listed precursor chemical license or permit, and is a person as defined by this article, and knowingly or deliberately fails to obtain such a license or permit. Section 40-9G-2 Incentives for qualifying projects; filings; audits; promulgation of regulations. (a) For any qualifying project, an abatement may be allowed for ad valorem taxes and construction related transaction taxes. (a) Each licensee shall keep and use in its business any books, accounts, and records that the supervisor may require to carry into effect this chapter and the administrative regulations issued hereunder. Section 22-35-5 Fee; withdrawals; disposition of funds; liability for clean-up costs; audit. (a) Every owner of an underground or aboveground storage tank as defined in this chapter shall pay an Underground and Aboveground Storage Tank Trust Fund fee as established by the provisions of this chapter to be paid to the department. During the first year next following October 1, 1988, the amount of the annual Underground and Aboveground Storage Tank Trust Fund fee shall be one hundred dollars ($100). Thereafter, the commission, upon recommendation of the management board, shall set such an amount not to exceed one hundred fifty dollars ($150) per year per regulated tank. 40-9-60 Certificates of exemption for persons or companies exempt from sales, use, and lodging taxes. (a) All persons or companies, including, but not limited to, those cited in this chapter, other than governmental entities, which have statutory exemption from the payment of Alabama sales and use taxes levied in, including, but not limited to, Chapter 23 of this title, or lodgings taxes levied in Chapter 26 of this title, regardless of the type of transaction or whether the tangible personal property is subject to sales and use tax or whether the accommodations are subject to lodgings tax, shall be required to annually obtain a certificate of exemption from the Department of Revenue.
