Section 34-1A-7 Licenses - Required. (a) Effective January 1, 1998, it shall be unlawful for
any person or business entity to engage in a business regulated by this chapter in this state
without a current valid license or in violation of this chapter and applicable rules and regulations
of the board. (b) Effective January 1, 1998, it shall be unlawful for a person or business
entity not licensed under this chapter to advertise or hold out to the public that he or she
is a licensee of the board. (c) Any person or business entity who violates this chapter or
any order, rule, or regulation of the board shall be guilty of a Class A misdemeanor, and
for each offense for which he or she is convicted shall be punished as provided by law. (d)
Effective January 1, 1998, it shall constitute a Class A misdemeanor to willfully or intentionally
do any of the following: (1) Obliterate the serial number on an alarm system for the purpose

or its agent, within 30 days after receipt of the request for extension by the taxpayer or
its authorized agent. (3) The preliminary assessment entered by the taxing jurisdiction, or

Section 27-29-3.1 Acquisition involving change in control of insurer authorized to do business
in Alabama; pre-acquisition notification; violation of competitive standards. (a) The following

Section 25-4-134 Procedures for collection of delinquent contribution payments. (a) Generally.
The contributions, interest, and penalties required to be paid under this chapter shall be
a first and prior lien upon all property and rights to property, real or personal,
of any employer subject to this chapter. The lien shall arise at the time the contribution
report, or the payment of the contributions, as the case may be, was due to have been filed
with or made to the Department of Labor. The secretary may file in the office of the judge

Section 34-9-6.1 Mobile dental facilities or portable dental operations. (a) For purposes of
this section, the following words have the following meanings: (1) DENTAL HOME. The dental
home is the ongoing relationship between the dentist and the patient, inclusive of all aspects
of oral health care, delivered in a comprehensive, continuously accessible, coordinated, and
family-centered way. (2) MOBILE DENTAL FACILITY. Any self-contained facility in which dentistry

Section 45-39-40.19 Refusal, revocation, suspension of license or certificate; hearing. (a)
The board shall have the power to refuse, revoke, and suspend licenses and certificates, strictly
in accordance with this article, upon proof of violation of any of the rules and regulations

Section 45-32-150.09 Suspension or revocation of license. The commission may suspend or revoke
the license of any licensee conducting a race meeting, upon the willful violation of any of
the provisions of this part, or any rule or regulation promulgated by the commission or may
invoke a fine not to exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000) per offense in lieu thereof. It

Section 34-9-24 Statement of charges and notice of hearing before revocation or suspension
of license. No action to revoke or suspend a license or permit shall be taken until the licensee
or permittee has been furnished a statement in writing of the charges against him or her,

Section 8-7A-15 Suspension and revocation. (a) The commission, by order, may suspend or revoke
a license or order a licensee to revoke the designation of an authorized delegate, with or
without prior notice, if the commission finds that such an order is in the best interest of

Section 33-4A-27 Suspension or revocation of license - Notice; hearing. For any violation by
any bar pilot of any of the provisions of this chapter, or any of the rules established by
the commission under the authority conferred upon the commission by this chapter, or under
any authority which may be hereafter conferred upon the commission, the commission may suspend
or revoke the license or branch of a bar pilot so violating the law or rules of the commission.
The secretary of the commission shall notify the bar pilot in writing of the specific charge
preferred against him or her, specifying with reasonable certainty the law or rule or regulation
