Section 5-19-1 Definitions. For the purposes of this chapter, the following terms shall have the following meanings respectively ascribed to them by this section: (1) FINANCE CHARGE. The sum of all charges, payable directly or indirectly by the person to whom credit is extended, and imposed directly or indirectly by the creditor as an incident to the extension of credit. The amount of the finance charge in connection with any credit transaction (i) shall be determined, and shall include and exclude the fees and charges, as provided by Section 106 of the Federal Truth-in-Lending Act, 15 U.S.C. Section 1605 and the regulations of the Federal Reserve Board promulgated pursuant to the Federal Truth-in-Lending Act, 12 C.F.R. Section 11-99A-21 Failure to pay assessments. If the owner of any land within the district fails to pay an assessment when due, time being of the essence, the board may commence proceedings to foreclose on the land as follows: (1) The board shall send a letter, certified mail, return receipt requested, United States first class mail to the last known address of the owner. The address of the owner as shown in the tax assessment records of the tax assessor or revenue commissioner for the county in which the property is located shall be sufficient. Section 45-42-200.16 Additional fees for mailing expenses. All applications for motor vehicle tags by mail and the correct amount of taxes and fees shall be received by the county license commissioner, on or before the last regular work day before the 20th day of each month, and the commissioner shall mail such tag not later than the end of the same month. The commissioner shall charge and collect a fee, not to exceed three dollars ($3), for each month vehicle tag issued by mail, in addition to all other fees prescribed by law. Section 9-17-176 Assessment. (a) The council shall set the initial assessment at no greater than one-tenth of one cent per gallon of odorized propane. Thereafter, annual assessments shall be sufficient to cover the cost of plans and programs developed by the council. In no case may the assessment be raised by more than one-tenth of one cent per gallon of odorized propane annually. Section 40-29B-8 Penalties. (a)(1) For taxable periods beginning on or after January 1, 2017, and before December 31, 2024, taxpayers that are granted amnesty and later fail to comply with any payment or filing provision administered by the department shall be subject to the penalty for underpayment due to negligence under subsection (c) of Section 40-2A-11, or a civil penalty of one hundred dollars ($100), whichever is greater. Section 22-35-9 Administration cost of chapter; annual budgets for administration. (a) Administration cost of all the provisions of this chapter shall be charged to the fund. Annual budgets for administration are to be included as part of the regular department budget, except that the annual budget of the management board shall not be a part of the department budget. Section 38-15-6 Fees. (a)(1) The department may charge a fee for the registration. The fee may be set by rule of the department and may be based on the type of facility and the capacity of the facility. After the initial registration approval, the department may charge a renewal fee annually on each anniversary of the effective date of the registration.
