Section 7-3-405 Employer's responsibility for fraudulent indorsement by employee. (a) This
section applies to fraudulent indorsements of instruments with respect to which an employer
has entrusted an employee with responsibility as part of the employee's duties. The following
definitions apply to this section: (1) "Employee" includes an independent contractor
and employee of an independent contractor retained by the employer. (2) "Fraudulent indorsement"
means (i) in the case of an instrument payable to the employer, a forged indorsement purporting
to be that of the employer, or (ii) in the case of an instrument with respect to which the
employer is the issuer, a forged indorsement purporting to be that of the person identified
as payee. (3) "Responsibility" with respect to instruments means authority (i) to

Section 7-7-209 Lien of warehouse. (a) A warehouse has a lien against the bailor on the goods
covered by a warehouse receipt or storage agreement or on the proceeds thereof in its possession
for charges for storage or transportation, including demurrage and terminal charges, insurance,
labor, or other charges, present or future, in relation to the goods, and for expenses necessary
for preservation of the goods or reasonably incurred in their sale pursuant to law. If the
person on whose account the goods are held is liable for similar charges or expenses in relation

Section 5-17-16 Disposition of shares or deposit account of deceased person. Whenever a person
shall die leaving a share or deposit account in a credit union not exceeding ten thousand
dollars ($10,000), the credit union having the share or deposit account may discharge itself
from liability thereafter by paying the funds in the share or deposit account to the widow
or surviving husband of the deceased or, if there is no widow or surviving husband, to the
persons having the actual custody or control of the minor child or children of the deceased;
provided, that such person, if not the legal guardian, shall execute to the probate judge
