Section 25-7-5 Labor organizations to file copies of constitutions, bylaws, and amendments thereto; annual reports. (a) Every labor organization functioning in Alabama, and every labor organization hereafter desiring to function in Alabama shall, before doing so, file a copy of its constitution and its bylaws and a copy of the constitution and bylaws of the national or international union, if any, to which the labor organization belongs, with the Department of Labor, but this provision shall not be construed to require the filing of any ritual relating solely to the initiation or reception of members. All changes or amendments to the constitution or bylaws, local, national, or international, adopted subsequent to their original filing must be filed with the Department of Labor within 30 days after the adoption thereof. Section 45-5-141.20 Powers and duties; annual dues; board of trustees; referendum election. (a) This section shall apply only in Blount County. (b) A district for the delivery of fire and emergency medical services may be formed in any unincorporated area of the county pursuant to this section subject to the approval of a majority of the qualified electors who vote at a referendum election for that purpose in the proposed district and for the approval of the mandatory annual dues of the district. (c) In order to call for a referendum election for the formation of a district, a petition signed by not less than 20 percent of the registered voters who reside in the proposed district shall be presented to the county commission and the Judge of Probate of Blount County. (a) Until January 1, 2027: (1) Operators who have underground facilities within this state shall participate in and utilize the services of the One-Call Notification System.
