Section 19-3-127 Bonds of Tennessee Valley Authority. Bonds issued by the Tennessee Valley
Authority under the provisions of the Tennessee Valley Authority Act of 1933, as amended or
as the same may be hereafter amended, shall be legal investments for fiduciaries investing
trust funds and for investments by savings banks and insurance companies organized under the

Section 27-3-12 Deposit requirements - Special deposit - Surety insurers. (a) In addition to
the deposit required under Sections 27-3-11 or 27-3-14, a surety insurer shall deposit and
maintain deposited with the Treasurer of this state in trust for the benefit of holders, resident
in this state, of the obligations of the insurer cash or securities eligible under Section
27-6-3 having a value at all times of at least $50,000.00; except, that a domestic surety
insurer may take credit for the amount of such special deposit against the deposit otherwise

Section 27-3-14 Deposit requirements - Alien insurers - Generally. (a) An alien insurer shall
not have authority to transact insurance in this state unless it has and maintains within
the United States as deposits with trustees, public depositaries or in trust institutions
approved by the commissioner under Section 27-3-15 assets available for discharge of its United
States insurance obligations, which assets shall be in amount not less than the outstanding
