Section 40-2-11 Powers and duties generally. (a) The County Commission of Chilton County is authorized, when the need exists, to provide protection against forest fires in Chilton County by participating in the Alabama Forestry Commission's fire protection program in the manner hereinafter specified. The judge of probate may employ such assistants and clerical help as may be necessary to complete and properly prepare reports from the state voter registration list of the list of qualified electors which the judge of probate is required to furnish a certified copy to the election inspectors.
