Section 45-42-234 Fees; disposition of funds. (a) In Limestone County, the fee for issuance of a permit to carry a pistol in a vehicle or concealed on or about the person as provided in Section 13A-11-75, shall be fifteen dollars ($15) which shall be collected by the sheriff. (b) Any and all monies collected under subsection (a) shall be deposited by the Sheriff of Limestone County in any bank located in Limestone County selected by the sheriff, into a fund known as the Sheriff's Law Enforcement Fund and shall be audited by the Department of Examiners of Public Accounts. (b) The county commission may promulgate rules and regulations limiting and controlling noise in public places and establishments. A violation of the rules and regulations shall constitute a public nuisance.
