Section 45-46-90.05 Board of directors. Each authority shall be governed by a board of directors,
who shall be appointed by the authorizing governing body. All powers of the authority, except
as herein restricted, shall be exercised by the board or pursuant to its authorization. The
board shall consist of seven directors, who shall be appointed for staggered terms as hereinafter
provided. The positions on the board shall be numbered from one to seven, inclusive. The initial

for nomination may, at least 45 days before the primary, present to the county executive committee

Section 45-2-120.09 Appeals from disciplinary actions. (a) A classified employee shall have
the right to appeal any disciplinary action taken against him or her. An employee on probationary
status shall not have that right unless the employee had permanent status in some other position
at the time of appointment to the probationary position. An employee desiring to appeal any
disciplinary action directed against him or her shall first exhaust any administrative remedy
