Section 45-8A-71.05 Civil service board - Compensation; clerical assistance and legal counsel.
(a)(1) The chair of the board serving in that position before June 1, 2017, shall be paid
one hundred twenty-five dollars ($125) per month, the vice chair serving in that position
before June 1, 2017, shall be paid one hundred ten dollars ($110) per month, and all other
members of the board serving on the board before June 1, 2017, shall be paid one hundred dollars
($100) per month. (2) The monthly compensation of any member elected to the position of chair
or vice chair on or after June 1, 2017, or appointed to serve on the board on or after June
1, 2017, shall be an amount mutually agreed upon by the board and the governing body. (b)
Board members shall be paid by the City of Jacksonville. The board shall have power to appoint

Section 45-22A-21 Board of education. (a) There is established a school board for the City
of Cullman, Alabama, which board shall be called "The Cullman City Board of Education."
The board shall be composed of five members elected from the city at-large by the qualified

board for the City of Attalla, Alabama, which board shall be called the Attalla Board of Education.
