Section 45-8A-22.05 Expense allowances. The members of the board of the civil service commission of any city which has a civil service commission in any county having a population of not less than 95,000 nor more than 130,000 according to the last or any subsequent federal decennial census shall receive an expense allowance as follows: the chair shall receive two hundred dollars ($200) per month, and the other members shall receive one hundred twenty-five dollars ($125) per month. The expense allowance shall be paid from funds of the city on order of the board in the same manner as other city salaries and expenses and shall be in lieu of all other compensation and expenses provided members of the board by general, special, or local law.
