Section 8-7A-6 Application for license. (a) A person applying for a license under this
chapter shall do so in a form and in a medium prescribed by the commission. The application
shall contain all of the following information: (1) The legal name, the residential address
of the applicant if the applicant is an individual, the business addresses of the applicant,
and any fictitious or trade name used by the applicant in conducting its business. (2) A list
of any criminal convictions of the applicant and any material litigation in which the applicant
has been involved in the 10-year period preceding the submission of the application. (3) A
description of any money transmission services previously provided by the applicant. (4) A
list of the proposed authorized delegates of the applicant and the locations in this state
where the applicant and its authorized delegates propose to engage in money transmission services.

Section 10A-2-8.54 Court-ordered indemnification. REPEALED IN THE 2019 REGULAR SESSION
BY ACT 2019-94 EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2020. THIS IS NOT IN THE CURRENT CODE SUPPLEMENT. A director
of the corporation who is a party to a proceeding may apply for indemnification to the court
conducting the proceeding, or may file an action therefor in another court of competent jurisdiction
if the court has jurisdiction over the corporation and the corporation is a party to the proceeding.
On receipt of the application or the filing of the action, the court after giving any notice
it considers necessary may order indemnification if it determines: (1) The director is entitled
to mandatory indemnification under Section 10A-2-8.52, in which case the court shall
also order the corporation to pay the director's reasonable expenses incurred to obtain court-ordered
indemnification; or (2) The director is fairly and reasonably entitled to indemnification

Section 34-21-2 Board of Nursing generally. (a) There is created the Board of Nursing,
which shall be composed of 13 members to be appointed and have the duties and powers enumerated
in this section. The membership of the board shall be inclusive and reflect the racial,
gender, geographic, urban/rural, and economic diversity of the state. In order to insure continuity
of administration, the nine board members provided for by Section 3 of Act 427, Regular

request; provisions of statement; itemization of services and expenses; action by Attorney

Section 45-49-110.04 Deputy registrars; monthly meetings; monthly and annual reports.
(a) In Mobile County, in addition to any and all other laws relating to voter registration,
there shall be at least two additional deputy registrars from each ward or precinct in each
legislative House and Senate district within the county, one appointed upon the recommendation
of the senator and one appointed upon the recommendation of the House member from each district.
The only requirement for such deputy registrars, shall be that each is a registered voter

Section 27-34-12 Preliminary certificate - Initial solicitations and qualifications.
Upon receipt of a preliminary certificate from the commissioner, the society may solicit members
for the purpose of completing its organization, shall collect from each applicant the amount
of not less than one regular monthly premium in accordance with its table of rates as provided
by its constitution and laws and shall issue to each such applicant a receipt for the amount
so collected. No society shall incur any liability other than for the return of such advance
premium, nor issue any certificate, nor pay, allow, or offer or promise to pay or allow any

in order to qualify for the workers' compensation insurance premium discounts provided under
