Section 10A-2A-1.40 Chapter definitions. Notwithstanding Section 10A-1-1.03,
as used in this chapter, unless otherwise specified or unless the context otherwise requires,
the following terms have the following meanings: (1) AUTHORIZED STOCK means the stock of all
classes and series a corporation or foreign corporation is authorized to issue. (2) BENEFICIAL
STOCKHOLDER means a person who owns the beneficial interest in stock, which is either a record
stockholder or a person on whose behalf shares of stock are registered in the name of an intermediary
or nominee. (3) CERTIFICATE OF INCORPORATION means the certificate of incorporation described
in Section 10A-2A-2.02, all amendments to the certificate of incorporation, and any
other documents permitted or required to be delivered for filing by a corporation with the
Secretary of State under this chapter or Chapter 1 that modify, amend, supplement, restate,

Section 16-25-21 Method of financing. Effective October 1, 1997, all the assets of the
retirement system shall be credited according to the purpose for which they are held among
three funds, namely: The Annuity Savings Fund, the Pension Accumulation Fund, and the Expense

Interstate Compact. The Emergency Medical Services Personnel Licensure Interstate Compact
is hereby enacted into law and entered into with all other jurisdictions legally joining therein
in form substantially as follows: SECTION 1. PURPOSE In order to protect the public
through verification of competency and ensure accountability for patient care related activities
all states license emergency medical services (EMS) personnel, such as emergency medical technicians

Section 45-49-150.04 Bingo games Application for permit. (a) A qualified person or organization
which does not hold a bingo permit pursuant to Section 45-49-150.03, may apply for
a special permit for conducting a bingo session at a designated location for a special occasion.
Such an applicant shall submit to the sheriff a written application prepared in accordance
with and on a form prescribed by rule of the sheriff. The application shall include the information
required by subsection (c) of Section 45-49-150.03, except that the applicant shall
indicate the date or dates on which the applicant will conduct the bingo session for the special
occasion. (b) Upon determination by the sheriff that the applicant is a qualified organization
and is not ineligible pursuant to Section 45-49-150.03 and upon the applicant paying

No less than 100 percent of the net proceeds of a bingo session shall be designated and expended
for charitable or educational purposes. Net proceeds means gross proceeds less reasonable

a bingo game shall be devoted to the charitable purposes of the bingo permit holder. All reasonable

Section 45-8-150.08 Bingo games - Equipment; prize and conduct limitations. (a) Bingo
may not be conducted with any equipment which is not owned, being purchased, or being rented
at a reasonable rate by the permit holder, except as otherwise provided in this article. (b)(1)
Prizes awarded by any organization for the playing of bingo games during a bingo session shall
not be less than 50 percent of the gross receipts in cash or gifts of equivalent value during
the bingo session. (2) The maximum amount of prize money that may be paid in any one week
