Section 45-40-72 Commission members; districts; chair. (a) The Lawrence County shall be composed of five , elected from single-member one through five, inclusive, by the qualified voters residing within each district. The five districts shall be apportioned as provided by law. Each commissioner shall reside in the district he or she represents at the time of qualifying for office and during his or her tenure.
