Section 45-19-80.01 Additional fee authorized; disposition of funds. (a) In addition to any court costs and fees now or hereafter authorized in Coosa County, the Coosa County Commission may impose by resolution of the commission an additional fee in an amount not to exceed fifty dollars ($50) to be assessed and taxed as costs on each civil case and on each criminal case, including traffic cases, but excluding small claims cases, filed in the circuit court, district court, or any municipal court in Coosa County, as well as an additional fee not to exceed five dollars ($5) for the service of a pleading or other document in connection with any action or case. These fees shall not be waived by any court unless all other fees, assessments, costs, fines, and charges associated with the case are waived. Section 45-36-246 Levy and collection of tax. (a) There is levied from each producer of coal in Jackson County a privilege or license tax to be known as a severance tax. The rate of the tax shall be twenty cents ($.20) per ton of coal severed. (a) The Butler County Board of Health shall designate the services rendered by the county health department for which fees may be charged and shall set the fee to be charged for each service.
