Section 13A-11-61.3 Regulation of firearms, ammunition, and firearm accessories. (a) The purpose of this section is to establish within the Legislature complete control over regulation and policy pertaining to firearms, ammunition, and firearm accessories in order to ensure that such regulation and policy is applied uniformly throughout this state to each person subject to the state's jurisdiction and to ensure protection of the right to keep and bear arms recognized by the Constitutions of the State of Alabama and the United States. This section is to be liberally construed to accomplish its purpose. (b) For the purposes of this section, the following words shall have the following meanings: (1) AMMUNITION. Fixed cartridge ammunition, shotgun shells, the individual components of fixed cartridge ammunition and shotgun shells, projectiles for muzzle-loading firearms, and any propellant used in firearms or ammunition. Section 45-37-40.02 Barber commission. (a) There shall be a barber commission for the county consisting of three members, one of whom shall be black, herein at times referred to as the commission. No dealer shall be prosecuted under the provisions of this division when the dealer can establish a bona fide guarantee signed by a reputable wholesaler, jobber, or manufacturer within the United States from whom he or she purchased such articles that they are not adulterated or misbranded within the meaning of this division, designating it and that he or she has no knowledge of such adulteration or misbranding at the time they were purchased by that dealer. Section 8-20-7.1 Compensation of dealers for recall repairs. (a) For the purposes of this section, the following words have the following meanings: (1) MANUFACTURER. A manufacturer, distributor or wholesaler, factory branch, or distributor branch. (2) STOP-SALE ORDER.
