Section 45-49A-81.08 Temporary total disability of city employee. (a) In the event of the death of a married employee and if at the time of such death the employee (1) is in the active employment of the city, or (2) is receiving a pension either for disability or for longevity from the city a pension shall be paid to his or her spouse.
