Section 45-17A-82.03 Civil Service Board - Composition; termination; meetings; oath. (a) On
June 7, 2007, the current board members shall complete their terms of office. The board shall
be composed of five members designated respectively as Member No. 1, Member No. 2, Member
No. 3, Member No. 4, and Member No. 5. Each member shall be of recognized good character and
ability and a resident and qualified elector of the city. No person shall be eligible for
membership on the board who holds any civil office of profit under the city, county, or state.
No employee or official of the City of Tuscumbia shall serve as a member of this board. (b)

Section 45-36-90 Jackson County Economic Development Authority. (a) There is hereby created
the Jackson County Economic Development Authority for Jackson County, Alabama. The authority
is created for the purpose and has the responsibility of aiding and assisting current industries

Section 11-68-13 Architectural review board; composition; nomination of members; terms; removal
for cause; vacancies; officers; rules; reimbursement for expenses; personnel; meetings; multiple
boards. (a) A municipality enacting an ordinance pursuant to this chapter, may elect to create
an architectural review board, hereinafter sometimes called the board, to perform the duties
and responsibilities of the historic preservation commission in accepting, considering and
approving or rejecting applications for certificates of appropriateness, as set out in Sections
11-68-9 through 11-68-12. (b) If such board is created, it shall be composed of not less than
five members who shall have demonstrated training or experience in the fields of history,
