Section 45-49-230 Salary - Sheriff. (a) In Mobile County, effective beginning the next term
of office of the sheriff, the Sheriff of Mobile County shall receive an annual salary that
is 90 percent of the annual salary of the District Attorney of Mobile County. (b) The salary
of the sheriff on and after January 15, 2007, based on the interpretation of Acts 1939, No.
594, 1939 Regular Session (Local Acts 1939, p. 355), as amended, by Mobile County, that the
sheriff receive a salary based on 75 percent of the highest paid circuit judge in the county
is ratified and confirmed, and any salary payments made to the sheriff after January 15, 2007,
are ratified and confirmed. It is not the intent of this section to increase or decrease the

Section 45-38-70 Salary. (a) Each member of the Lamar County Commission shall devote his or
her full time to the business of the commission, effective upon the next term of office of
any of the members. (b) The members of the Lamar County Commission shall receive an additional

Section 45-49-201 Supplemental salary. (a) Effective upon the expiration of the current term
of office, the License Commissioner of Mobile County shall be paid an annual supplemental
salary in the amount of ten thousand and five hundred dollars ($10,500). (b)(1) The supplemental
