Section 11-51-186 Taxpayer rights; responsibilities of municipality; abatement of penalty. (a) Rights of the taxpayer. (1) At or before the commencement of an examination of the books and records of a taxpayer, the taxing jurisdiction shall provide to the taxpayer a written description, in simple and non-technical terms, of the role of the taxing jurisdiction and the taxpayer during the examination and a statement of the taxpayer's rights. (2) At or before the issuance of a preliminary assessment, the taxing jurisdiction shall provide to the taxpayer in simple and non-technical terms: a. A written description of the basis for the assessment and any penalty asserted with respect to the assessment. b. A written description of the method by which the taxpayer may request an administrative review of the preliminary assessment. Section 34-9-6.1 Mobile dental facilities or portable dental operations. (a) For purposes of this section, the following words have the following meanings: (1) DENTAL HOME. The dental home is the ongoing relationship between the dentist and the patient, inclusive of all aspects of oral health care, delivered in a comprehensive, continuously accessible, coordinated, and family-centered way. (a) The Sheriff of Butler County shall keep and maintain a permanent record of all abandoned and stolen personal property recovered by the sheriff's office. These records shall state the description of the property, the date of recovery of the property, and the serial or other identifying number of the property. The records shall be open to public inspection at all reasonable times.
