Section 24-4A-2 Definitions. As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them by this section: (1) COMMISSION. The Alabama Manufactured Housing Commission. (2) APPROVED. Conforming to the recognized codes and regulatory requirements adopted by the commission. (3) APPROVED INSPECTION AGENCY. An organization meeting the commission's requirements to provide inspection of manufactured buildings and to insure compliance with national recognized codes, and rules and regulations adopted by the commission pursuant to this chapter. (4) LOCAL GOVERNMENT. A city or county government. (5) MANUFACTURE. The process of making, fabricating, constructing, forming or assembling a product from raw, unfinished or semifinished materials. Section 22-11D-8 Rules and regulations. (a) In accordance with the Alabama Administrative Procedure Act, the board, with the advice and after approval of the council, shall promulgate rules to implement and administer this chapter. Rules promulgated by the board may include, but are not limited to, the following: (1) Criteria to ensure that severely injured or ill people are promptly transported and treated at designated trauma centers appropriate to the severity of the injury. Section 22-30E-4 Authority of the department to establish rules and regulations. (a) The department, acting through the commission, may adopt, promulgate, modify, amend, and repeal rules and regulations to implement and enforce this chapter as necessary to provide for the voluntary assessment, cleanup, reuse, and redevelopment of qualifying properties. Section 15-18-182 Eligibility for continued grant funding; additional incentive funding; noncompliance with plan. (a) In order to remain eligible for continued grant funding, a recipient must substantially comply with the requirements of this article and the standards and administrative regulations of the department promulgated pursuant to the Administrative Procedure Act defining program effectiveness.
