Section 45-49A-63 Definitions. As used in this part, the following words and terms shall have
meanings as follows: (1) ANNUITY STARTING DATE. The first day for which a benefit is payable
as an annuity or any other form under Section 45-49A-63.80. (2) BENEFICIARY. The person or
persons named by a member by written designation filed with the board to receive payments
under this plan after the member's death. The member may not change his or her beneficiary
after his or her annuity starting date. If no beneficiary designation is in effect at the
member's death, or if no person so designated survives the member, the member's surviving
spouse, if any, shall be deemed to be the beneficiary, otherwise the beneficiary shall be

Section 45-3-245 Levy of tax; collection and enforcement; disposition of funds. (a) This section
shall only apply to Barbour County. (b) As used in this section, state sales and use tax means

Section 45-37-170.02 Removal or demolition of unsafe structures. (a) The County Commission
of Jefferson County shall have authority, after notice as provided herein, to move or demolish
buildings and structures, or parts of buildings and structures, party walls, and foundations
when the same are found by the county commission to be unsafe to the extent of being a public
nuisance from any cause. (b) The term appropriate county official as used in this section
shall mean any county building official or deputy and any other county official or county

Section 45-49-120.04 Supervisory committee. (a) There is hereby established the Supervisory

Section 45-49-160.04 Payments by credit card. (a) For purposes of this section, the term credit
card includes any credit card, charge card, or debit card issued by any bank, foreign lender,

Section 45-49-181.12 Rulemaking authority; exemptions; use of private roads. (a) The county
commission may adopt the necessary rules for the construction of county maintained roads in
