Section 24-5-2 Definitions. Unless clearly indicated otherwise by the context, the following
words when used in this article, for purposes of this article, shall have the meanings respectively
ascribed to them in this section: (1) ALABAMA MANUFACTURED HOUSING COMMISSION FUND. The fund
established to provide necessary revenue for the enforcement of this article. (2) COMMISSION.
The Alabama Manufactured Housing Commission. (3) DEALER. Any person, other than a manufacturer,
who is duly licensed to sell manufactured homes in this state. (4) LABEL. The approved form
of certification by the manufacturer under the Uniform Standards Code that is permanently
affixed to each manufactured home or transportable section thereof, and which serves as the
certification by the manufacturer of conformance with the applicable federal manufactured

Section 45-44-233 Law enforcement substation program. (a) The Sheriff of Macon County, Alabama,
is hereby authorized to make provisions for a law enforcement substation program throughout
the county to the extent he or she deems necessary for improved law enforcement efforts. In
order to foster and encourage the support of private citizens for such program, there is hereby
established the Sheriff's Department Substation Trust Fund to which private citizens may make
supportive contributions. The county sheriff shall serve as trustee for such fund and shall

Section 45-49-261.13 Limitations on authority of planning commission. (a) The planning commission
shall have no jurisdiction over the type of single-family housing or dwelling to be placed
or constructed on private property. (b) The authority of the Mobile County Commission under

Section 45-49-50 Qualifications, Constable Regulatory Board of Mobile; suspensions. (a) In
Mobile County, no person shall hold the office of constable unless the person has successfully
completed the minimum standards and training for peace officers pursuant to Section 36-21-46.
(b) All constables shall be required to obtain a minimum of 20 hours of training per year,
in addition to those requirements for constables set forth in subsection (a). (c) Constables
not acquiring the required amount of training hours may not perform the duties of their office
