Section 11-9-2 Authority for issuance; form, terms, denominations, etc.; sale and disposition of proceeds; pledge for payment of principal and interest generally. Section 15-5-62 Definitions. For the purposes of this article, the following words shall have the following meanings: (1) FELONY OFFENSE. Any act that could be charged as a felony criminal offense under the Code of Alabama 1975, whether or not a formal criminal prosecution or delinquent proceeding began at the time the forfeiture was initiated. (a)(1) Each Alabama resident individual income taxpayer desiring to contribute to any of the programs listed in subsection (b) may designate an amount of his or her refund, rounded off in whole dollars, in an appropriate box on the state income tax return form, to be credited to the program.
