Section 9-6-8 Powers and duties generally. (a) The County Commission of Choctaw County is hereby authorized and empowered to construct and maintain driveways for schools, churches, and church owned cemeteries, located within the county, at county expense. (a) It is the intent of this article to make available to Madison County residents the aforementioned services only when such road related services and road building materials are not available to them at a reasonable cost from private enterprise.
