Section 45-47-250.05 Powers of authority. (a) The authority shall have the following powers, together with all powers incidental thereto or necessary to the discharge thereof in corporate form: (1) To have succession by its corporate name for the duration of time specified in its certificate of incorporation. (2) To sue and be sued in its own name in civil actions, except as otherwise provided in this article, and to defend civil actions against it. (a) Actions of the governing body of a public provider relating to the provision of cable service or telecommunications service by the public provider, shall be taken in meetings open to the public consistent with any one or more of Sections 11-43-49, 11-43A-21, 11-44C-25, and 13A-14-2, as amended, respectively, or other similar statutory provisions, as shall otherwise govern meetings of the governing body of the affected public provider. The dental home is the ongoing relationship between the dentist and the patient, inclusive of all aspects of oral health care, delivered in a comprehensive, continuously accessible, coordinated, and family-centered way.
