Section 11-50-77 Hearing upon objections as to proposed purchase; amendment, modification, rescission, etc., of ordinance or resolution and contract by council. Any member may bring charges against an officer or director by filing them in writing with the secretary of the association, together with a petition signed by 10 percent of the members, requesting the removal of the officer or director in question. (a) In Macon County, the Little Texas Volunteer Fire Department may assess and collect a service charge by action of the board on all property served by the department for fire protection services. The service charge shall not exceed seven and one-half percent of the total ad valorem taxes due and payable on the property on an annual basis.
