Section 45-49-102.25 School council - Meeting frequency and agenda. The school council in a pilot program shall determine the frequency of and agenda for their meetings but shall meet at least once a month. Matters relating to formation of school councils in a pilot program that are not provided for by this subpart shall be addressed by the Mobile County School Board policy. The school board shall develop a policy and system relating to the reporting of the school councils. The policy shall require that reports by a school council in a pilot program be submitted to the school board at uniform periods on forms developed by the school board that shall be used by each school council. (a) After the Mobile County Commission has determined that such a need does exist in Mobile County, the county commission, in the manner hereinafter specified, may provide for a financial charge or tax to be paid by the owners of forest lands located in Mobile County for the use of the land for timber growing purposes amounting to the whole or any part of the cost of such fire protection program, but not in excess of ten cents ($0.10) per acre, provided such financial charge or tax is not greater than the benefit accruing to such forest lands due to availability of such fire protection. (a) The Director of the Clay County Community Corrections Program and employees of the program shall constitute law enforcement officers of the State of Alabama with authority to make arrests and serve arrest and search warrants in the performance of their official duties to the same extent as deputy sheriffs are authorized and empowered in the counties, so long as he or she holds a current certification from the Alabama Peace Officers' Standards and Training Commission. (a) No person shall be responsible for payment of a civil fine for a notice of violation issued under this part if the operator of the vehicle that is the subject of the notice of violation is adjudicated to have not committed a violation or there is otherwise a lawful determination that no civil penalty may be imposed. Section 45-49-233 Pistol permit fee; Sheriff's Fund. (a) In Mobile County the fee for issuance of a pistol permit to carry a pistol in a vehicle or concealed on or about the person as provided in Section 13A-11-75 shall be twenty dollars ($20), which shall be collected by the sheriff.
