Section 45-42-82 Optical Allowance. In addition to any other compensation or expense allowance now provided by law, the District Attorney of the Thirty-ninth Judicial Circuit shall have the option of receiving either an automobile furnished for his or her use by the county or a monthly expense allowance equal to one percent of the annual salary paid to him or her by the state.
