Section 45-37-233.20 Collection and disposition of fee. (a) In addition to all existing charges, fees, judgments, and costs of court, the clerk, sheriff, constable, or other appropriate court official in the civil division of the district and circuit courts of Jefferson County shall increase the fee by ten dollars ($10) for each subpoena served and for all other documents served by the sheriff's office, or its designee. (b) The court official designated in Jefferson County by law for the respective courts shall collect the additional service of process fee pursuant to subsection (a) and remit the fees collected to the county general fund. Section 12-17-226.8 Fees. (a) An offender may be assessed an administration fee when he or she is approved for a pretrial diversion program established under this division.
