Section 45-48-85 Renewal of business license by mail. The Judge of Probate of Marshall County is hereby authorized to renew Alabama business licenses by mail. The judge of probate shall mail notices during the month of September of each year stating the amount of the license if purchased by mail. In addition to all other sums collected, the judge of probate may charge a fee of up to two dollars ($2) for all business licenses that are issued by mail.
