Section 45-23-240.100 THIS SECTION WAS ASSIGNED BY THE CODE COMMISSIONER IN THE 2019 REGULAR
SESSION, EFFECTIVE MARCH 15, 2019. THIS IS NOT IN THE CURRENT CODE SUPPLEMENT. (a) In Dale
County, the Revenue Commissioner shall collect a tag transaction fee in the amount of five
dollars ($5) for each motor vehicle tag, except trailer tags, issued or renewed in the county.
The fee shall not apply to tag transfers and replacement transactions. The tag transaction
fee shall be in addition to any other fees authorized by law. (b) Three percent of the proceeds
from the fees shall be retained by the Revenue Commissioner to be used for the operation of
his or her office. The remainder of the proceeds from the fees shall be distributed by the
Revenue Commissioner to the Dale County Commission to be further distributed by the county
commission to municipalities and to emergency medical services organizations for emergency

Section 45-36-180.05 Requisitions. The county engineer is hereby designated as the person authorized
to make requisitions in writing to the county commission for per diem and other expenses,
provided, when contracts are to be let or when equipment is to be purchased, lease-purchased,

Section 45-48-70.13 Equipment marking designated. It shall be the duty of the commission to
provide for the marking in the manner hereinafter prescribed of all vehicles, except those
vehicles furnished for use by each member of the commission as provided in Section 45-48-70.11,
and all road-building machinery and equipment owned or leased by Marshall County. All such

Section 45-8-22 Special licenses; additional taxes; maintenance of records. (a) It shall be
unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation, other than the state Alcoholic Beverage Control
Board, to sell at retail in Calhoun County any spirituous or vinous liquors without first
obtaining a special license from the judge of probate that shall be in addition to all other
licenses required by law. The amount of the special license shall be determined by the county
commission and shall be levied in the same manner as other county licenses are levied. Licenses
required by this subsection shall expire on September 30th following the date of purchase.

Section 8-32-3 Requirements for selling or offering to sell service contracts. (a) Either the
provider or its designee shall: (1) Provide a receipt for, or other written evidence of, the
purchase of the service contract to the contract holder. (2) Provide a copy of the service
contract to the service contract holder within a reasonable period of time from the date of
purchase. (b) A provider may, but is not required to, appoint an administrator or other designee

Section 11-24-2 Submission, review, and approval of plats; permit. (a) It shall be the duty
of the owner and developer of each subdivision to have all construction completed in conformity
with this chapter and, prior to beginning any construction or development, to submit the proposed
plat to the county commission for approval and obtain a permit to develop as required in this

Section 11-52-32 Approval or disapproval of plat generally; legal effect of approval; powers
of planning commission as to subdivision zoning; approval or disapproval of plat in certain

Section 45-2-244.004 Duties of cigarette wholesalers, jobbers, and retailers. (a) It shall
be the duty of each wholesale dealer or jobber who sells, stores, or delivers cigarettes to
retail sellers in this county to affix to each package of cigarettes sold or delivered in
the county the designated stamp. Each wholesaler or jobber who desires to do so may purchase
the stamps from the county commission of the county at a 10 percent discount on the entire
