Section 45-5-71 Appropriations from general fund. (a) The Blount County Commission may appropriate from the county general fund an amount not exceeding two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) for each fiscal year, for a contingent fund to be used for any purpose the commission may deem appropriate. (a) Beginning October 1, 2005, each member of the Lee County Board of Registrars shall receive thirty-five dollars ($35) per day from the county in addition to any compensation received from the state.
